Another great few days enjoying the rugged (and in appearance disconcertingly Scottish looking) terrain on Easter Island. We also had the great fortune of finding a really top quality restaurant, so cholesterol up, budget surplus down. The restaurant has previously been judged best food in the South Pacific and has pictures of various monarchs tucking in there, so who are we to argue…? It was pretty nice to just walk in and get a table… no need for a six week advance booking like London. The proprietor favours a quite direct approach to service (which was fine with us), but frankly given the quality of the food it wouldn’t matter if he jabbed toasting forks in his clients!

We can’t talk for that long as we have a flight to catch, but the pictures speak for themselves hopefully – (interesting nightlife as you can see!).
